With a career spanning almost three decades in cosmetology, Monica Dickenson has a wealth of experience in hair styling and treatments. In recent years, she transitioned into trichology to maintain her connection with the world of hair while shifting her passion to hair and scalp wellness. Her professional journey has been shaped by the meaningful connections she's made with clients over the years as they navigate hair loss and scalp disorders. Fueled by an avid interest in understanding the intricacies of the human body, she devotes her time to understanding how internal factors — such as vitamin deficiencies, hormonal imbalances, and gut health — impact the health and appearance of a person's hair and scalp.
As an artist in the field, Monica views hair care as a visual representation of the relationship between our inner and outer selves. She takes pride in guiding clients through these visual narratives to a deeper understanding of how their inner well-being is reflected in their outward appearance.
Monica is a USTI-certified trichologist and was named USTI Associate Trichologist of the Year in 2018. She is also certified in hair replacement and men's prostheses. As part of her mission to provide whole-body wellness for her clients, she is also a certified body worker for Endospheres® therapy, as well as cavitation/radiofrequency/laser lipo.
As a certified trichologist, Monica specializes in scalp disorders, detox, and hair loss. She is a proud member of Trichologists On A Mission, a network of hair loss professionals who focus on assisting with hair restoration and scalp conditions. She is also proud to partner with Holistic Practitioners of Trichology™, whose mission is to bring awareness to the benefits of holistic hair and scalp treatments while supporting professionals who work with hair loss.

My initial consultation appointment with Hair Saviours was excellent. I was given information that helped me decide the best option to move forward on my journey to a healthy scalp and hair regrowth. My first appointment was EXTRAORDINARY! Monica is very knowledgeable and was very patient and professional, responding to my many questions as we went through the process. I felt at ease as she went through each step as well as proving an explanation of the products and supplements for my individual needs. So glad I found Hair Saviours!
